Our Story: Born from a Mother's Vision
Cocoon Daycare was founded in 2023 by Mrs. Jinal Menon — a woman who understood that the first five years of a child’s life are not a waiting period before “real” education begins. They are the education.
When Mrs. Menon looked at the existing daycare options in Nagpur, she saw a gap. Parents had to choose between daycares that were merely supervisory — safe, but unstimulating — or formal preschools that weren’t equipped for full-day childcare. There was no middle ground. No place that combined professional curriculum-based learning with the warmth and care a toddler truly needs during the day.
So she created one.

The name Cocoon isn't accidental. It's a philosophy.
A cocoon doesn’t force growth. It protects, nourishes, and creates the perfect conditions for transformation to happen naturally. Inside a cocoon, a caterpillar doesn’t just survive — it becomes something extraordinary.

Cocoon currently has two branches — in Besa and Somalwada — and we have chosen to grow thoughtfully rather than rapidly. Our commitment to small groups and personalised care means we will never expand faster than our ability to maintain our standards.
